Going into this game Dortmund football club trail league leaders in what appears to be another tittle glory for Bayern Munich with just 9 games to go.

Going into this game Dortmund won 7 out of their last 8 league games while Schalke are winless in their last 7 games.

In the first opening minute of the game, Halaand continued from where he stopped before the season was paused driving home a powerful kick which was saved by Schalke’s keeper Schubert.
However on the 29th minute Haaland opens scoring with a fine finish from a cross from Hazard. The goal was however the first goal to be recorded in the German Bundesliga after 60 days of no action.
In the 45th minute however, Dortmund Capitalize on a weak clearance Schalke’s keeper, with Brandt giving Guerreiro a pass which the latter did justice to by putting it in the far corner of the net.
The first half ended with Dortmund leading by 2 goals.
In the second half. Dortmund continued their grand style of play and soon they benefitted from a corner attack to score another goal. Thorgan Hazard was the goalscorer in the 48th minute.
However the two team continued to search for goals but on the 63 minute from a one two pass between Haaland, Hazard, and Guerreiro with Guerreiro clinically putting that at the back of the net.
Hazard was replaced by Jadon Sancho after sustaining a knock in the 79th minute. However on the 91st minute, the referee blew the final whistle to signify the end of the match.
A brilliant start for Dortmund as they chase tittle leaders Bayern in what looks more like a fight to finish between the two clubs for the title.
