Ever thought of starting your day the healthy way? The first hours of the day is of great importance that whatever is done within these hours have great effect on the productivity and mood of the entire day.

  • Grab a glass of water: Drinking a glass of water is just one of the things you can do every morning to feel healthy throughout the day. The body basically shuts down once we drift to sleep. Authomatically, the body is left without water for good eight hours. Once the body is dehydrated, bodily activities performed during hydration is kept on hold. Start by hydrating the body the to replenish what has been lost while asleep and to filter the body. Also, this kickstarts the metabolism of the body and prepares you for the task ahead.
  • Be thankful: Once you wake up, don’t go on thinking about the headaches of the day before, don’t go on thinking about your tasks for the day and don’t go on thinking about the problems you have to tackle. These thoughts leaves you in tiger mood and affects your emotions. Why not start by thinking of things, people and situations that makes you grateful, things that makes you happy to see the beauty of a new day. Starting your day with these kind of energy boosts your mood the entire day. It makes you participate actively in every affairs of the day.
  • Get some exercise: Begin your day with exercise. Not necessarily rigorous ones. As simple as stretching looks, it has great effect on the metabolism of the body. Exercise renews the body and helps you sweat out toxic and harmful substances in the body. Never start your day by working out your brain, it leaves you with nothing but headache and this affects how you respond to the events of the entire day.
  • Start with you: Furthermore, never start your day with other people ‘s affairs. Ensure you begin with things that concerns you. Avoid your gadgets for the first hour of the day because it is one of the means by which you are involved in other people‘s affairs. You can imagine waking up happily, you pick your phone and realize you have a mail from the office to perform a task or you get to know that your best friend got into an accident. These things can ruin your mood. Nourish your mind with positive thoughts, proclaim positive words, re-strategize your goals and plans if your previous method is not paying off. Develop yourself mentally, spiritually and emotionally. The first hours of the day is the best moment for you alone because you spend the entire day in your place of work tackling problems that doesn’t have to do with you, sulking about a friend’s issue or other life distractions.
  • Eat breakfast: All bodily activities have to be normalized and this requires intense amount of energy which can only be found in breakfast. It is the most important meal of the day. Consuming a nutritious breakfast within the few hours of waking up has proven to be beneficial to the body. Breakfast keeps the blood sugar steadier throughout the day. Skipping breakfast is one mistake you will never want to make once you realize the dangers it does to the body.
