Diogo Jota who joined them last season as premier league winners in the summer transfer from wolves had continued to impress the club. Jota set a new Liverpool record as he becomes the first player in Liverpool’s history to score in each of his first four home top-flight league appearances for the club.
The home games which Jota scored in are against Arsenal, Sheffield Utd, West Ham, and Leicester City, making him the first Liverpool player to score in his first four top-flight home games for the club.
