Covid-19 – 26 NYSC Members Test Positive In Jigawa Orientation Camp
Covid-19 task force committee says 29 new cases have been identified in the state, out of which 26 are Corps members.

Chairman of the task force and permanent secretary Ministry Of Health Dr. Salisu Mu’azu discloses at the stakeholders meeting in Dutse explained that 14 Corp members tested positive in the Batch B Stream of the NYSC orientation camp out of which eight are currently admitted, and the remaining 6 have recovered and have been discharged.
He added that another 15 out of the 150 Batch B Stream 2 NYSC Corps members posted to Jigawa state also tested positive for the virus. The permanent secretary says the discoveries were made after all corp members were subjected to the compulsory test on entry into the camp. He said there is every likelihood that more cases will be recorded as the NYC members continued to arrive
The task force committee chairman however said that the state government has ordered the immediate reopening of three state isolation centers after its closure in September due to zero cases recorded.
