Christmas Celebration: Adeyemi Harrison paid hospital bills of indigent patients in Ogun Waterside
Adeyemi Harrison, a former House of Assembly member in Ogun State celebrates Christmas in Ogun Waterside Local Government by visiting the state general hospital at Ibiade to clear the bills of some indigent patients in the hospital during the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ yesterday.
The two-term State House of Assembly member and former house of representatives aspirant was at the hospital to reach out to the patients as part of his show of love towards the people of Ogun Waterside.
“This philanthropic gesture is my way of celebrating the year 2020,” says Adeyemi Harrison during his visit to the hospital.
One of the beneficiaries of the gesture from the former lawmaker, one Mrs Abiodun Ogundele was full of praise when she heard that her hospital bills have been paid by him.
Another patient whose bill was paid by Adeyemi Harrison described the gesture as laudable as she cannot contain her joy as a beneficiary.
Speaking at the hospital, the former chairman house committee on Agriculture charged other well-to-do Ogun Waterside indigenes to use this period to extend the hand of love and support to the indigents of the Local Government.
Despite being out of power, Adeyemi Harrison remains the politician to beat in Ogun Waterside due to his grassroots connection to the people.
