CBN Blocks Account Relating To EndSars Protest – Influencer Cries Out

A popular Twitter influencer cried out after his Bank account got blocked by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) after he received funds relating to the EndSars protest.

He went to the bank for a complaint, he was told his Bank account was blocked by the Central bank of Nigeria that they have no idea about it.

This brought about the notice of a bank worker who took his time to explain to him that the govt carefully through social identified strong voices of the end Sars and they are attacking their finances.

The bank worker also told him that the issue is beyond his bank.

The popular Twitter influencer speaks saying why will CBN serves as opposition to the Current EndSars protest.

He wrote expressing his displeasure, “This is pure oppression and uncalled for. So CBN is against our fight towards police brutality and bad governance??

“Is this not part of the bad governance we are fighting?? If a big amount entered my account, all it used to take is to clear myself in my bank.”

“Got to my bank with necessary credentials just to be told the restriction is from “the top”. They cannot do anything about it??

“When I’m done ranting here, I’ll take it upon them to file a legal suit. I cannot be oppressed when I’m not involved in fraudulent activities. #EndSARS.”

He also said the EndSars protests have been stressful for him but with all that, no one has been arrested or prosecuted as regards police brutality.

“Every day has been hell stressful and top of it, nobody has resigned, nobody has been prosecuted!!.”

CBN has not made any comment as regards blocking bank accounts that relate to the EndSars protest.
