Bukar Gana (Abu Aisha) Senior Boko Haram Commander Meets Waterloo in Damasak
The Nigeria military has continued to record victory against Boko Haram and ISWAP in the fight against the terrorist organizations in the Northeast.
Yesterday a senior Commander of ISWAP, Bukar Gana (aka Abu Aisha), and large numbers of ISWAP/ Boko Haram fighters who were on a revenge mission at Damasak were killed by the troops of the Nigeria Army.
This is coming after the killing and neutralizing of 12 high-value commanders in Mobbar LGA of Borno State in a week-long air and ground operations.
The coordinated operation by the Nigerian military in various locations of the Northeast has made life difficult for the terrorist. Deadly airstrike were carried out in Tudun, Zari, Wulgo and Tumbun Alhaji and also in Marte, Sigir, and Ngala Local government.
Following the military onslaught and the incessant pain inflicted on the terrorist group, Bukar Gana led a group of fighters on a revenge mission but met his waterloo and his group of fighters was decimated.
Nigeria Military on April 10 killed 3 other Boko Haram commanders including Ameer Umar, Abu Ubaida, and Abu Salim. Bukar Gana has been on the radar of the Nigerian Military.
