Breaking: Osun, Edo, others to benefit as Buhari approved the establishment of new colleges of education




President Muhammadu buhari has approved the establishment of 6 new Federal colleges of Education with each of the 6 geo-political zones in Nigeria to have one.


News of the establishment of the proposed federal colleges of education was contained in a tweet by the President aide on New Media, Bashir Ahmad.

States to benefit from the proposed institutions are Osun, Edo, Sokoto, Ebonyi, Bauchi, and Benue state respectively.


It is not stated when the construction of the new federal institutions will commence.

Method of funding the proposed institution of learning is not stated too in the statement.

Nigeria’s major source of money, the crude oil piece has fallen the coronavirus pandemic too is affecting the economy negatively.

The proposed colleges are not likely to kickoff operations this calendar year.
