Brazil’s Economy is now crashing due to the Covid-19 lockdown the country is experiencing, Brazil finance minister Paulo Guedes warned.

Brazil’s Economy Which is Now Crashing as warned by the finance minister, as he joins Business owner in protesting against the lockdown measures the local government are imposing, said the stay-at-home order could lead to shortage of food and social disorder.

“Within about 30 days, there may start to be shortages on shelves and production may become disorganised, leading to a system of economic collapse, of social disorder,” Guedes warned.

Brazil which is the country that has the most cases in South America with about 130,000 confirmed cases and 9,000 death.

Brazil is now confused on whether it should continue lockdown or focus on Economic growth.

Brazil president who strongly disagree with the lockdown the state Governors are enforcing said in his statement on thursday that “fighting the virus shouldn’t do more damage than the virus itself”.

It is no doubt that the lockdown is causing Economy disruption in so many countries but it seems it’s affecting Brazil the most in South America as the country has the most highest cases of Coronavirus in the continent.
