Before You Travel Abroad In Search Of Greener pasture Think About All These Things
Before we were born numerous of our fathers had no clues of running abroad in search of greener pastures. Then our country used to be a very wonderful place to live in. All our things were good, we were farmers and we are still good at trading.
Many of us who had education always wish to exploit our land to exhibit our potentials, but suddenly we were stuck in the dungeon of bad leadership, the set of megalomaniacs who only oppress the citizens, people who fleece the economy without a pity.
Whenever they plan to formulate a policy that will favor the masses, what usually end their plans is embezzlement, now all our resources have turned to be a muddle, we have been fully deprived of every goodie of life and nothing to show for the nation again.
This is what made numerous Nigerians run abroad, to find something good that will yield enough money that will change life to good because no one prefers suffering to zest, no one will prefer living in abject poverty to pleasure.
However, in the wake of searching for the goodies of life, many Nigerians end up blaming themselves.
This does not apply to Nigerians alone, it applies to Africans entirely.
Many of these Africans that are living their beloved countries to sojourn in Europe, Asia, America, and so on, end up in the wrong hand; not all the white men are good; many are as wicked as the devil; thus many of the Africans who went there in search of goodies of life are placed under some of the white men’s servitude.
There is one bitter truth that most Nigerians and Africans as a whole don’t know about all the foreign countries, such as Oman, Qatar, Lebanon, and even Saudi Arabia.
All the aforesaid countries are filled with heartless and satanic human beings who will employ Africans for had labor without pay.
Many who they employed died in their domain having worked assiduously for months and when they asked for their money that is when they are killed.
Many Africans are even abused sexually, the reasons for this is that many of them do not regard Africans as human, they believed the blacks are beast as a result many are marginalized.
I want you that is traveling abroad to think twice before you sold things that can still make you a man in Nigeria i.e if you can know your way.
Many I’ve sold valuable things that can make them somebody, believing that when they got to Europe or America, they will achieve and rather restore what was sold in many folds, but they got disappointed when they got there.
There is one fact, many Nigerians are excelling in Europe and other countries, but there is a tendency that you’ll face the ugly side if you know no one over there, another truth is there is high stigmatization in all these countries, there is no how you prove to be mild in gesture, you will be frustrated.
Just of recent a Nigerian from the Yoruba decent, had been pleading with the Nigerian government and anyone who cares to help, should come and get him out of Germany to please come to his aid.
The man named Elijah Amusan had been begging incessantly that he want to return to his people in Nigeria.
Just imagine a man that has been in Europe since 2016, he had no one to meet over there to assist him, he lamented that many times are when he slept inside the bush, he expressed himself about how he had witnessed stigmatizations, now all he wants is to come back home.
Let us ask ourselves some questions.
Why Did This Man Plead ForHelp To Return To Nigeria?
This question is very pertinent, Elijah Amusan ( That is the man) had thought if he gets there all the problems in his life is gone, but the reverse was the case.
This is because there is some country with language barriers, such countries are one which Elijah found himself.
Countries like: Italy, Spain, Germany, Ukraine, and so on, are countries with high levels of stigmatization.
How Did I Know This?
I am fortunate to know this because my wife to reside in Germany. She was a professional nurse before she traveled to Germany.
There was a time I resolved to joined her in Germany, she was elated but she asked me what will I be doing over there.
I was first confused with the question, but she explained what I don’t know to me about Germany and what she explained is what applies to all these European countries.
She said if you want to know to go and sojourn in these countries, you must be an artisan, i.e you must have a skilled job that will help you there, but if you know you just want to go there for different zest.
Even though if you have that skill, you must have someone to go directly to when you get there, and if you know no one you will be put in their camp where immigrants are kept till they can speak the language of the land.
In the camp some people spent up to two years before they can speak the language, some three years, it depends on how fast you are in learning.
After they are certified that you are perfect in the language that is when you can now enter into the city, and on entering the city you are going to your working place, because there is no loitering, wandering, and strutting unnecessarily over there.
Do you now see the reason why Elijah Amusan is suffering in Germany?
The solution now is that we should pray for him to see a good Samaritan who can convey him to Nigeria safely.
How Do We Prevent More People From Traveling To Overseas In Search For Greener Pasture?
What will help us in Nigeria, is when our political leaders desist from their political shenanigans and thereby run an accountable government, that is devoid of translucent activities.
Again, they should make sure that every sector in the country is well funded, devoid of suffering some sector by pending their salaries.
Education that is the chain of life should be funded to its fullest, agriculture should be fully revived, our oil sector should be rehabilitated so that refineries can be built in our own country.
Basic amenities like electricity, road construction should be fully available, and political corruption should be reduced to the barest minimum.
By so doing our country can be seen to meet up among the comity of great countries, by then none of the citizens will be interested in going on a journey that is hazy enough to determine whether one will progress or not when one gets there.
