The Federal government through the Ministry of Youth and Sports Development in partnership with and partnership with TiimAfrica has opened a supplementary application process for ProjectGrow100.  The portal for supplementary applications would be open from 4th February 2021 to 19th February 2021

ProjectGrow100 is an entrepreneurship and skill development project is aimed at empowering 100 youth-owned businesses with $5,000 across Nigeria. The project which was started in 2020 is in line with the federal government’s plans to empower youths and lift 10million Nigerians out of poverty.

The one-time grant of $5000 set up by the Federal Government through a partnership between the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports and Tiimafrica is designed to help small business owners scale up their business and have access to much-needed funds required to take their businesses to the next level.

ProjectGrow100 initiative is expected to yield both direct and indirect gains to the economy and strengthen the resilience of young Nigerian business owners through the provision of funds to innovative and creative young entrepreneurs in the country.

Eligibility for the Projectgrow100. To be eligible for the projectgrow100 the following criteria must be met.

  1. Business must be located in Nigeria
  2. The business owner must be between the age of 25 to 35 years old
  3. The business owner must provide a 6-month financial record of the business
