A.C Milan is in high spirits ahead of their Europa League encounter with already knocked-out Sparta Prague on Thursday. A win at Prague could earn the Italians a top spot finish in Group H of the competition.
French team Lille F.C who currently holds the top spot with 11 points from 5 games is one point clear of Milan. However, Lille will also be traveling to Glasgow on Thursday to take on Celtic, who earned a 2-2 draw in the reverse fixture in France on Matchday 2.
A repeat of that result could hand Milan the advantage heading into the knockout phase knowing fully well they’ll be meeting a not so stiff opponent like most group leaders.
Speaking to the press about how he’ll react if they win Thursday’s match, A.C Milan coach, Stefano Pioli explained how the whole team are already used to celebrating on the bus after any victory owing to the tight schedule of fixtures they have. But as always, a little celebration never hurt no one.
Best of luck to the Italian giants!
