It seems all is not over yet for the celebration of the 2nd year in office and 61st birthday of the Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, as members of his cabinet have given financial support to scores of patients in selected hospitals across the three Senatorial Districts of the State.

Speaking on the gesture, the Commissioner for Health, Dr. Tomi Coker, who was accompanied by her counterpart, Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Afolabi Afuape and Commissioner for Industry, Trade and Investment, Mrs. Kikelomo Longe to the State Hospital, Ijaye Abeokuta, in Ogun Central senatorial district, said the visit was geared out of the Governor’s humane and passionate nature for the less privileged citizens in the State.

Coker said the Governor made his preference for an impactful birthday celebration rather than the elaborate jamboree known to people close to him, calling on high net worth individuals in the State to emulate such mindset.

Tunji Akinosi, in the company of his counterpart, Commissioner for culture and tourism, Dr. Oluwatoyin Taiwo, pointed out that the Governor’s sympathetic nature towards the downtrodden inspired the cabinet move.
