2023: Governor Yaya Bello Breaks Silence on His Presidency Ambition.
Kogi State Governor, Yahya Bello, has broken the silence on his 2023 presidential ambition.
The governor said he is under pressure to run for the post of president or vice president in 2023, however, the governor said he doesn’t want to be distracted at this period.
The Kogi State Commissioner for Information, Kingsley Fanwo, had earlier said that people have been calling the youngest Nigerian governor from the six geo-political zones of the Federation to run for the presidency in 2023.
The Kogi State House of Assembly also told the governor to consider running for either president or vice president in 2023.
While speaking at the North-Central Governors’ Forum Security meeting today in Makurdi, the capital city of Benue State, Governor Bello said 2023 is in the hand of God. The cable reported.
He said his major concern at this period is delivering his mandate of rebuilding Kogi State.
He added that 2023 shouldn’t be the major agenda now. His focus is on improving Kogi’s economy, security, and youth employment.
Governor Yaya Bello is currently serving in his second term, he is the youngest Nigerian governor at this time.
