President Muhammadu Buhari has stated his complete support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
This is contained in the president’s written reply to Bloomberg Online News’ queries.
When asked if he intends to endorse a presidential contender, and if so, who? “Yes,” Buhari said. “I would support the APC presidential candidate.”
President Buhari further declared that his administration is the first in Nigerian history to put a stop to decades-long herder-farmer disputes, which have been aggravated by desertification and population increase.
In response to the escalating number of blasphemy-related deaths in the country, he stated, “No one has the right to take the law into his or her own hands.” Our two great faiths and their great books, Christianity and Islam, share considerably more in common than they do separately.
“We must rely on Nigeria’s great legacy of tolerance, and we must endeavour to establish common ground.” What this tragedy teaches us is to love what we have in common while still accepting our diversity. “
